Bronson has been potty trained for a very long time! However, I have been helping him put his underwear and pants back on EVERY SINGLE TIME. That was until this week. I decided he could do it! And he did!

Well sometimes he gets on his underwear and then gets frustrated with his pants.........

But, that doesn't keep him down for too long...

One step at a time I guess!!

AHHHHHH! Another month has flown by! Hudson has had a rough 9 months but, you would never know it! He has had Ppneumonia, Bbronchitis, Ear Iinfection, Bbronchitis, Croup, RSV, and a sinus infection...... in just 9 months. But, no matter how many times we go to the Dr. they always say..."Oh, he looks happy....he doesn't look sick" Which always makes me feel stupid for coming in AGAIN. But, then they but the stethoscope on his chest and realize he is not quite as healthy as they thought. UGH!

No matter what....You can't keep this baby from smiling! He is a bright light in our family.

He is in a hurry to move...Hudson started army crawling at 7 months and pulling up at 8 months. At 9 months he still army crawls a bit and can now go from tummy to sitting up. He can pull himself up and let go with one hand. He loves playing with Bronson and likes to take whatever Bronson has!! We love him so much and everyone claims him as their baby!

We got sick of the rain around here.

So Alan took the girls up the canyon where there was plenty of snow and went snow-shoeing.

This was their very first time and they LOVED it.

I stayed home with a sick prone baby and a toddler ):

They had a blast making snowmen, running, falling, snow angles, snow ball fights, and lots and lots of eating snow.

We went to Christmas Village (minus Alan and Hud).

The kids got to sit with Santa and talk with the big guy for a few minutes.

Bronson actually looked at him...he didn't say anything, but at least he made eye contact. We are making some progress!

We took a little train ride and looked at all the little houses. That was until Bronson decided that he was cold and did not want to be there anymore. That's where i had to carry him screaming to the car.

The girls were a bit upset to leave but I bribed them with some hot cocoa and all was well.

what they want to make, i research it, they get to stay up and craft with just me one night!

Reese decided to make play dough for everyone. I was really fun to make and yes, the boys were up! We

did it while the girls are at school. But, they keep secrets really well! Reese is so darn excited to give these to the girls!

Ok the girls had a piano recital Dec 10th. They were so excited about it. We were at the church so all the students could fit. This was Kendalls first recital and she performed "Jingle Bells". She did amazing and not nervous at all! This was Savannahs second recital and she played "The Ukrainian Bell Carol" she was amazing too! I loved seeing her confidence when she plays. They love their teachers SOO much and still love to play (:

WOW....It sure is GREAT to BE 8! This year Kendall celebrated with her friends and she chose GET AIR and indoor trampoline park.

Kendall has the BEST friends. This is one of them......and she is such a doll. Kendall had 10 of her best-est friends come to the party and they are alll so darn cute!

The next morning (Sunday) was her official birthday. We started it with the traditional breakfast with a candle and a "BED HEAD" picture! Classic!

Then she got dressed for church and go to see her present! Finally a bigger bike! The look on her face says it all!

Sunday we had her traditoinal PIE....it was a cookie and icecream pie!

The following SUNDAY she GOT baptized by her dad. What a WONDERFUL day. Kendall just BEAMED the entire time. It was a very special day for her and us!

We love our little man....Bronson! We are learing so much from him everyday. Lately I feel like I "get him". He is so different from the girl sometimes we feel like we are learning all over again on how to take care of him. Bronson goes through "phases". Some past phases are....
1. Turning the radio on and off and on and off and on and off.
2. Turning the dishwasher on and off and on and off and on and off
3. Insisting on sitting on the opened dishwasher
4. Playing in the bathroom
5. Running in the street or any direction that is oppisite of me!
6. Turning on my laptop off and on and off and on
7. Turning the power stip to the computer off and on and off and on!

His CURRENT phases are:
1. Loving any truck, car, motorcycle, airplane or helicopter
2. Taking apart EVERY SINGLE PEN that he can find.
3. Eating the gum out of my purse.
4. Giving Hudson toys or kisses (man he loves his little brother soooo much)

He went to the doctor and was 28" (88%)

He weighs 21.8lbs (90%)

Hudson also had his very first bite of food this week. He was totally intrested and then he swallowed and did not like it too much. He has some squash and DID NOT enjoy it.

We know he will soon enjoy eating like the rest of us!!

9 things we LOVE about Savannah:
1-We love her silliness. She makes up some crazy jokes (:
2-She love, love, loves, her little brothers. She asks all the time if she can hold Hudson or if she could read stories to Bronson.
3-Her sisters are her best friends- They play together and get in trouble together.
4-She makes friends easily. Some people mistake her for "shy", those people don't know her at all.
5-She is a whiz at reading, math, and spelling. She loves to learn and it shows.
6-We love to craft, cook, and shop together.
7-I love the outfits that Savannah comes up with. She loves to accessorize!!
8-I think she is musically talented and I love to hear her play piano (:

I LOVE going to the pumpkin patch every year...we go to the same one EVERY year too!

We had a blast taking a tractor ride (bronson's fav), picking pumpkins, pig races, train rides, seeing a peacock and baby cow, playing in the corn box, sliding down HUGE hey slides, and to top it all off seeing a cool rainbow on our way out! The kids were ALL smiles and it was so fun for everyone!

Every year the girls enter an art contest at school. They worked really hard on their projects and they were so proud of them. Kendall did a drawing (of Hudson in his crib) while Savannah did 3D art (a mobile of hot air balloons). Savannah was suprised to find out that she WON FIRST PLACE!! Out of K throught 6th grade our little 3rd grader won! She beamed the rest of the day!

Reese had her first fieldtrip for preschool. We went to a dairy farm to see all the new baby cows (calvwes). We had fun and it was super stinky! The best part was drinking rootbeer milk at the end!

Savannah and Kendall were so excited to start 2nd and 3rd grade. They both LOVE their teachers this year and even have some friends in their class. They are both pretty happy to wake up still and love making their own lunches for school!

Miss Reese has waited FOREVER to start preschool.

This was her first year and man alive was she excited!

She is super social had has made many friends already.

She loved "recess" and snack time the best.

She says that during recess her and her friends run away from the boys and they practice walking like princesses.

Since Kiera (my little sister) is now living with us we are now involved in her hobby/passion....HORSES!
We went to her first event in Utah and boy was it an eye opener. So many horses, dogs, and lots of jumps.
She rides English and rocked at her event. She took first in her class!
The girls and Bronson loved watching her ride and thought she was AMAZING! We are so excited to be apart of this new world.

That's right....no training wheels! All of our girls are riding bikes. This of course happened by chance. Reese's training wheels keep falling off (this is a really old bike) so I told her to ride her scooter or just learn to ride her bike without them. So she said she wanted to ride with out them and that was the end of it! All she kept saying was "let go mom". So I did and she has been riding since. She is really great at it and can go up and down curbs, over grass, and has only hit 2 parked cars!

My Grampa passed away ....this was the Grampa that I was named after (Dawn/Don) and the
Grandpa that Hudson was named after...RUSH. He will be greatly missed.

WE LOVE OUR HUDSON and he is such a sweet 5 month old
At 4 months he was in the 97% for height and weight so we know he LOVES to nurse!
He is about 20 pounds of pure joy!
At 5 months Hudson:
-Is super ticklish
-Loves to talk
-Has an amazing amount of drool
-Can grab his toes (which is making diaper changing hard)
-Did I mention the drool??

TRAIN RIDE

What started out as a 1/2 hour event turned into a 6 hour ordeal! We took the kids to run the Kids K that they do every year! This year Reese wanted to run and she suprised by running the entire 1/2 mile!! The girls came in at 4 minutes and Reese came in at 5! She was sooooo focused and never stoped running (:
From their we ran into our friends and they wanted to play in the volleyball tournament. One thing lead to another and we ended up calling my little sis (kiera) and talking her into playing with Alan and our friends!
We cheered on the sidelines and enjoyed lots of fair food. After the tournament we did bounce houses, zip lines, and train rides! It wasn't at all planed but, lots of fun and the girls got to hang out with their best friends all day (who happen to be sisters !)

We where so lucky this week when Alan came home and told me we won 2 free tickets to ride a hot air ballon!!! Crazy huh?? So off to Antelope Island we climbed in a very small wicker basket and flew over the island. It was so peaceful in the air and sooooooo quiet! It was fun to help them set up the ballon, fly so high and so fast in the air, have a skidding landing, and then help them deflate and put the ballon away!
Certainly something I would love to do again and something I will never forget!!

Gets BLOGGED about!

First SISTER road trip happen really quick. We decide to head to Vegas to visit my parents and our brother and his family for the weekend! So the 3 of us (Hudson tagged along too) headed out.

First on the Agenda was to watch the exotic cars on the race track........................

And of course pose by the Lamborghini

THEN watch my Dad drive one....That right they let you DRIVE them on the race track. He got to do a few laps and he went really fast!!!

THe green Lamborghini was his car of choice!

Next we went to New York New York and rode the roller coaster on top of the building! Super FUN! Kiera and I rode together...aren't we cute!

YES! We did some shopping on the strip and then headed to Cheesecake factory! It was of course so good!

Add some swimming and call it a weekend!

And in the city that doesn't sleep....neither did Hudson. He was still really good but, that did not leave me with much down time and the trip home took forever...but I still got to spend some good times with my sis and family!

Hudson is super social and is happiest when he is having conversations. He loves to be held by anyone, and is a super sweet baby!

What is going on at your house at 3:32pm??? Today I heard some screaming...so I went upstairs to where my sweet Reese was taking a nap and this is what I found.....

My child only wearing underware....stuck on a shelf in her closet! I guess she was in the process of looking for the perfect dress to wear (while dumping the rest of her clothes) and could not get down. Her cutness has gotten her out of alot of trouble lately......This one just made us laugh too much for her to be in trouble (:

This little guy has some exciting news.................................................................

Thats RIGHT! Bronson is potty trained! We couldn't be happier to change diapers on only on child now.

In case you are wondering my "secret" for potty training a 2 year old.......Kendall. She is my best and most reliable potty trainer. She is a pro. Yes.....She is for hire....Better hurry....her prices go up every year!
We are so proud of Bronson joining the BIG KID world.

DISCLAIMER: Now that we have publicly announced that Bronson is potty trained, we are in no way saying if you invite us over to your home that he will not pee on your slide or your floor!

The great fort of 2011-Took up the entire playroom! The girls all made different rooms and even slept in it over night!!

We just had some new tennis courts put in by our home and this was the first year they offered tennis lessons!

IT has arrived! SUMMA time! Savannah and Kendall enjoyed their last day of school with their dad for field day! After school they decided to have a party! They invited a few friends and we made pancakes and had a pajama party and even watched gnomeo and juliet! We love all their friends and we are already busy into our summer activities!!

We took our vacation early this summer. Thanks to my little sis who graduated. We celebrated with her when my parents rented a house in Sunriver, OR. It is an amazing place where the tempurature stays at 65-70 and there are more paved bike trails than roads!

So for a week we.....

Ate amazing family dinners together!

Played at the park

Had picnics in the woods

Played some Tennis

Watched this kid run.....................LOTS!

Rode our bikes....everywhere!

I honestly did not think Bronson would even give Hudson a second look when he was born. Bronson is so busy! But, I was so wrong. He loves to watch him and wants to hold him all the time! They had an instant bond...and it shows!

Our kids can be so sweet! This night Savannah was brushing Reese's teeth for her ( I am not sure why she didn't have any clothes on???) and Kendall was reading Bronson a book! Love it!

Kendall had her 1st grade Opera a few days ago. It was a play that they sing all the words to. The kids got to make up the play and chose which character they wanted to be. The play was about a lost dinosaur egg. Kendall chose to be an anamil in the play and so she was a HAMSTER! Thats right....not a princess...no genie...but a hamster. She did awesome and was the best hamster I have ever seen!

Easter was an extra special one this year! We did a fun egg hunt at our house and the girls were extra spoiled with a new dress to wear to church. An extra specail Easter becasue we blessed Hudson this day. Alan gave a great (and quite long) blessing to Hudson. Hudson decided to listen quietly while his dad gave him a wonderful blessing. We are so blessed to have him in our family.

We decided to take Hudson on his first road trip when he was 2 weeks old, but this time we took Grandma with us!! We went on our annual St. George trip so Alan could attend a conference and we could enjoy some much needed sunshine!!

2 YEARS ago today.....Our lives completely changed!

Now we have our very big boy Bronson who is 2

Name: BrOnSoN
Nickname: Buddy
Age: 2

Weight: 30 lbs

Favorite food: Anything he is not suppose to have....yogurt...cheese....you get the idea! (Dairy IS NOT his friend).

Favorite thing to do: Run really really fast, pretends like everyone is chasing him, play with electronics, push buttons, turn lights off and on as fast as he can before someone stops him, and laugh.

Favorite animal: His weasel.....I have no idea where it came from but he sleeps with it every night and calls it baby.

Favorite things to say- NO!, Set GO!, Roxy!, Reese-E!, nigh-night! BYE! Girls! (can you tell which words I am yelling most of the day?)

Two things I LOVE about him:

He gives the best hugs and kisses!!

He either loves you or not! He will go up to different people and turn around and back-up to them. That means he likes you and wants you to hold him. Others he will look down and not make eye contact with them. That means......Stay away from me! I love that he is his own person even at 2 and so very different from the other 3. He keeps me on my toes ALL day!
He is SO easy to love and he has completely changed our lives (for the better) and we could not imagine not having our sweet boy....He has my heart for sure!

An BOY party has to have DIRT cups of course....they were super good....even with worms in them.

The girls decorated for his party and took alot of time making a banner for him! What great sisters he has.

You heard me! Skiing at 9 months pregnant.... I had a chance to go skiing with the YW in our ward. And I thought...no big deal! I still have 3 weeks before I deliver...I can do it!
That was until I put on my ski pants and could not zip them up......grrrrrrrrr
Alan GRACIOUSLY offered his ski pants and even though I looked like a marshmallow I wore them (:

I got a ton of laughs from all the girls but it was still fun. I stuck to the easier trails but quickly realized why you don't see alot of pregnant skiers. I had to pee after EVERY RUN! The bumps were killing me, but I stuck it out and even though I looked completely ridiculous, I had a blast (:

Reese is our TRUE BLUE middle child. She is stuck between 2 worlds where she is not quite old enough to do things with the big girls but, not a baby and is able to do many things that babies and toddlers cant do! I think that is why she is so sassy. She is still trying to figure out her place!!

She is so easy to love! She doesn't ask for much and really just has fun hanging out!

Ready for earrings!!!

Reese had a super duper awesome Birthday!!

We had our traditional pancake breakfast with candles to blow out!

Then on to her Birthday adventure....piercing her ears! The girls and I headed to the mall where Reese picked out her earrings. She had to choose the studs and they super cute flowers and pink flowers. When the lady asked which ones she wanted she said the BIG DIAMOND! She picked the biggest sparkly earring they had. After a minute of trying to get her to choose the dainty little pink flower, she held her ground and we stuck with the big diamond. Reese cried for about a second, then they showed her her sparkly earrings in the mirror and that was it!

She is so proud of them and tells everyone she knows about them (:

At home we celebrated with opening presents and her "cake" this year was ice cream sandwiches with pink sprinkles (a girl after my own heart!)

She had so much fun and she can't wait till she turns 5!!
